About Us
At Rising Moon Winery, we believe wine is more than a drink — it’s an experience meant to be shared. Our story is rooted in the simple joy of gathering. Whether it's family, old friends, neighbors, or someone you've just met, there’s something special about coming together over a glass of wine. From the moment you walk through our doors, we want you to feel like you’ve arrived at a place where you belong — where conversation flows as easily as the wine, and every visit leaves you with a new memory. Our winery was built on family traditions and a love for creating spaces where people feel at home. Every bottle we craft reflects that spirit — approachable, heartfelt, and made to be enjoyed around the table. Whether you're here for a tasting, a sunset view, or simply to slow down and savor the moment, we’re honored to be part of your story. Come join us at Rising Moon Winery — where wine, connection, and good company are always on the menu.

We love to experience new wineries and could not be happier that we found a true gem—The Rising Moon. Aside from its intriguing name the wine is excellent. The owners, Mike and Lisa, are friendly and fun, the moment you step through the door you will feel like family. The location is peaceful and the countryside surrounding it is beautiful. The Rising Moon winery would be a great destination to take a group of friends or for a couple wanting to spend some romantic time together. Each wine they make is a surprise, so delicious. The only problem you will have is deciding which wines you would like to buy. We have never experienced a winery where we love every single one. The elderberry brought back memories to me of sitting in my mom’s kitchen having a fresh, just baked taste of her homemade elderberry pie. I could list all their equally delicious wine flavors. But give yourself a treat. Go and experience them yourself. You won’t regret it.

I love this winery. While it is new, the selection is amazing. I prefer dry wine and their varieties of dry are exceptional. I did try the Sangria and a few of their semi sweet wines, and they are also excellent. Owner’s are great and personable, tasting room is very relaxing with no pressure, and location is perfect.
